Restrictions may apply;

--Currently I'm typing, eating, and packing at the same time. So, sorry if this isn't the best. I feel like I never have time to just sit and eat anymore, I always have to fit something "more important" into place and either skip eating (which is awful) or eat while I study, or do laundry, or drive. Anyways.

     Last night was the final show for the Twilight Concert Series, and yes of course I went. Granted I never thought that I would find myself at a Rap concert, but there I was. I went for Aloe Blacc, who was the opening for the rapper Common. Sadly I did miss most of Mr. Blacc's performance due to the public transportation that my friends were riding ( I had to pick them up at the train station). We did make it (we ran) for one of the songs that we had been waiting to hear, which was Loving You Is Killing Me, and it was absolutely fantastic.
     Then it was Common's turn. At that moment, I realized how out of place I was, but ignoring that fact I enjoyed the show on stage, as well as in the crowd. During one of his songs, he picked a girl from the audience and proceeded to bring her on stage with him. While she was up there she rubbed his sweaty bald head with a towel, received kisses from him, and then took a picture of the two of them on her phone. After that and some free style rapping, it was over and we decided that walking around the city at night was a great idea. And it was. We watched a man get a ticket for Jaywalking; I mean seriously, how often does that even happen. Off to Denny's we walked where say a cat tied up to a bike. As if the cat would walk along side the biker. And that was the extent of what we saw.
      Eventful? Yes. Enjoyable? Quite. Would I do it again? Without a doubt.

A little something;

--So far the first week of class has been, well it's been work. I miss summer a lot right now. And when I say a lot, I mean it. But this video helped me through my Psychology homework; hopefully it's  just as entertaining to you.
      This is from the movie Super 8. If you have not see this movie, then shame on you. It's on my list of favorites.

Chocolate Rapture;

--So I start school tomorrow. My summer has finally come to a close, but I'm really happy to say that the last weeks of my summer were spent with some really great people as well as some choice music.

       In honor of summer ending, or me trying to keep my mind off of the nerves I have for tomorrow, I decided to make a cake. Not some sad box mix, I'm talking about a recipe from a vintage house-wife cookbook. This book was titled: 10 Cakes Husbands Like Best. At the beginning of this book, it has a few paragraphs reassuring the average housewife that their Husbands will be pleased, it actually uses the word "surefire". Yes, I really do own this cookbook. It was a challenge, but it kept my me busy for a few hours. And sadly, like always, the finished product never ever turns out like the picture in the book. But it won the approval of my younger brother, so what more could I ask for?

       The cake recipe I chose? Chocolate Rapture.

So last night;

--So last night my friends were playing in this magical place called Mojos. Last night was my very first time there and I fell in love instantly. (It's a cafe but mostly people go for the live music and eclectic surroundings); They call themselves Emerall Pool, look them up so one day when they become famous you'll be ahead of the game and you can tell everybody "Yeah, I new Emerall Pool before they were cool." But only phrase it that way if you want people to call you a hipster.
        After the concert, we decided it would be loads of fun to take pictures on fiberglass animals so... we proceeded to do so.
        Here are a couple of the pictures from last night;

Greg;

--Well... this is Greg. He's been around for about 2 months now; which is undoubtedly a record for me. I thought that accomplishment deserved a few pictures of this sassy fish. His favorite food is Red.

Much needed visit;

--This past week my best friend Megan moved far away to Logan for school. It was a really hard transition for one solid reason, we were in probably the biggest fight we had ever been in. Ever. It was a bunch of stupid things that made both of us butt hurt, and then top it off with her leaving, we were both a mess. When she left, we didn't even say goodbye and we both sort of pretended like we were fine about the whole ordeal.
      Only thing is, we were not fine. That night I called her up crying, hung up because I was crying, then she called while I was crying in the shower, and she left a message of her crying. Finally we talked on the phone and it was decided that it was a necessity for me to come stay the night. So I drove up and it was what both of us needed.
       So she showed me what dorm life was like: Her bathroom fan growled when turned on, the smell of burnt pizza, all the wall sockets were closer to the ceiling than the floor, her kitchen was ant infested, and she lives rather close to a cemetery.
       So along with visiting the cemetery at night, we both fell asleep on her extra long twin sized dorm bed. Don't ask me how we both fit... comfortably.

--  Here are some of the pictures we took this weekend. Logan is a magical place.

Summer Evening;

--I cannot express more how much I adore a fantastic concert. Especially one outdoors. The Twilight Concert Series is such a brilliant way to celebrate the wonderful summer evenings. I finally got to see Iron and Wine. His voice is a voice that belongs to an angel; seriously when he came back on stage to perform his encore of Flightless Bird, American Mouth... my night was complete. Of course now and again, more often than not, you get a wif of something not so pleasant... besides that I had a lovely night enjoying music along with friends.
      Here are some pictures from my night. (I apologize for the poor quality.)

                                                                          --I really enjoyed this gentleman's backpack.

                                                                                  --Man Hula-hooping.

 --Alright, in all honesty, the man in the black shirt standing behind me looked just like a young John Lennon.
